Messerschmitt Bf 109E-7, 3rd Staffel, Lehrgeschwader 2, Calais-Marck, September 1940.

Unteroffizer Klick, a junior pilot of 3./LG 2, was flying Bf 109E-7 'Red Two' when he was shot down by Spitfires on
the evening of Sunday, 15th September 1940 - which became known as 'Battle of Britain Day'.

The aircraft came down near London, and the pilot was captured. His aircraft shows the transition from hard-egded,
high-contrast camouflage as worn on aircraft of the early Battle of Britain period to a more tactical pattern,
involving field-applied spray mottling, designed to break up the aircraft's outline.

Hope you like the skin,
